Three men have been killed in two separate workplace accidents in Perth, including two who were crushed to death after a concrete panel fell on them in East Perth.
Two men have died at a construction site in East Perth on Wednesday morning after two concrete wall panels being lifted by a crane fell on the road and crushed them. The incident occurred at a Jaxon apartment construction site on Bennett Street at about 11.30am with emergency services cordoning off a section of the street.
One worker, who was on the fourth floor of the building when the incident occurred, said he heard a loud bang before site managers evacuated the area.
The third man is believed to have died after falling from scaffolding at an aluminium refinery in Kwinana this afternoon.
